Old McDonald Lamb isn’t some soulless meat brand cooked up in a boardroom. It’s a third-generation family farm in Yass Valley region, NSW, run by people who care more about soil, flavour, and animal welfare than they do about flashy logos or fluffy slogans.
We raise our lamb the honest way—on pasture, with rotational grazing, regenerative methods, and no shortcuts. That means no feedlots, no mystery sourcing, no label games. Just real lamb, from a real farm, delivered to people who want better.

The Legacy
(Not the Buzzword Kind)
This land’s been in the family for generations. We’re not new to farming—but we are doing it differently. We’re moving beyond the old commodity model and into something better: transparency, sustainability, and a connection to the people who actually eat our food.
We’ve traded synthetic inputs for better water and nutrient cycling. We’ve refined our livestock handling, selected genetics for marbling and tenderness, and even monitor pasture growth by satellite. This isn’t a gimmick. It’s how you raise lamb that tastes as good as it looks.
And until now, most of it went overseas. But we’re changing that.
